The results of the Canadian Alteplase Compared to Tenecteplase: QuICR & OPTIMISE Registry-linked Randomized Controlled Trial will be presented and discussed. The top 5 stroke neurology papers published over the past 5 years will be summarized. The concept of neuroprotection is acute stroke care will be discussed, along with a brief overview of the ongoing ESCAPE-NEXT trial.
