Description:

The Novartis ‘Beat the Clock’ symposium offers a fresh take on the traditional symposium format by utilizing a reverse patient case. The presentation, led by Dr. Peter Kannu and Dr. Pranesh Chakraborty, will begin by reviewing a patient at an advanced stage of SMA and going back in time to review how to detect, assess, and initiate treatment at earlier stages. Participants will address the challenges facing physicians and patients in diagnosing and treating SMA in order to develop early intervention strategies that positively impact patient outcomes.

This program was developed by the CNSF and Novartis and was planned to achieve scientific integrity, objectivity and balance. It is an unaccredited learning activity and not eligible for MOC credits.
