Neurology Residents': Neurologic Emergencies

Description:

The neurology residents’ course will highlight core clinical neuroanatomy, neuroimaging and key neurologic emergencies relevant to all levels of training.

Learning Objectives:

  • Upon completion, participants will be able to identify, evaluate and treat common neurological emergencies.
  • Upon completion, participants will be able to develop an approach to emergencies in epilepsy, neuromuscular diseases and metabolic crisis.
  • Upon completion, participants will demonstrate CanMeds roles with regards to neurological emergencies.
