This course will address a variety of useful, but sometimes overlooked, topics including an overview of vascular malformations, stroke mimics and chameleons, and uncommon causes of stroke, giving the neurologist/healthcare practitioner practical knowledge that can be implemented into practice.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this session, participants will be able to discuss common clinical presentations and radiographic features of genetic causes of stroke, monogenetic or otherwise.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to discuss uncommon, and sometimes missed, causes of stroke, including fibromuscular dysplasia, carotid webs, among others.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to discuss common clinical presenstions of stroke mimics and chameleons and how to utilize advanced neuroimaging to facilitate diagnosis.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to discuss the clinical presentation, radiographic features, and management of common cerebral vascular malformations.
